Principal Partner

Mr. Emmanuel Ade Oyebanji, SAN is a distinguished legal practitioner with over 40 years post-call experience. He is widely regarded for his expertise in debt recovery, insolvency and receivership, arbitration, oil & gas law, maritime law, and corporate practice.

He adopts a business-oriented and pragmatic approach to legal problem-solving, delivering innovative strategies grounded in deep legal and commercial insight. Under his leadership, the firm has handled high-value transactions and disputes involving billions of naira.

Mr. Oyebanji is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, a registered Insolvency Practitioner under CAMA 2020, and has acted as Receiver and Arbitrator in numerous landmark matters. In 2025, he led the recovery of ₦25 Billion for a consortium of major Nigerian banks in a landmark insolvency matter.

Stanley C. Ezenibe

Head of Chamber

Mr Ezenibe graduated from the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka in 2008 and was called to the Nigeria Bar in 2009. He was further enrolled as a member of the chartered Institute of Management in 2010.

Prior to join ADE OYEBANJI, SAN LP; Stanley worked with GENO Attorney and Olusegun A. Alalade& Associates where he garnered considerable experience while working on corporate and commercial ligations with little supervision.

Stanley has a wide experience in corporate and commercial ligation and other alternative dispute resolution methods. He currently has keen focus on Receivership / Insolvency practice and AMCON track suit wherein he has garnered enormous experience in the past years by dealing with matters involving various prestigious bank and companies in Nigeria

Abdulwaheed Ismaila

Partner

Mr. Ismaila is graduate from Bayero University with a Law (LL.B) in 1987 and was subsequently called to the Nigeria Bar as a solicitor and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria after attending the Nigeria Law School, Lagos in 1988. He later attended the University of Lagos in 1999 where he bagged his Masters in Public Administration.

He is a consummate Legal Practitioner with a well-rounded experience in a vast area of the law. He ventured into the world of legal practice as a pupil Counsel at the then Plateau State Ministry of Justice where he did his youth service in 1989. Upon completion of Youth service, he joined the firm of Lateef Adegbite & Co between 1989 and 1992. He also had a stint as a Legal Officer with Eleganza Industries Limited / RAO Investment Property Company Limited between 1992 and 1994 before he joined the United Bank for Africa Limited (UBA) as a Recovery Officer.

In 2004, Mr. Ismaila moved to the Classified Asset Management Unit of First Bank of Nigeria Plc. As a Recovery Officer, he had helped managed/ restructured several otherwise bad/toxic debts while several billions of naira had also been recovered through his intrepid understanding of each case assigned to him and proffering timeous and economic solutions.

He is registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission, Abuja and authorized to practice as an Insolvency Practitioner pursuant to section 706 and 707 of CAMA 2020

In 2015, Mr Ismaila voluntarily resigned from the employ of First Bank of Nigeria Limited and Joined the Firm of ADE OYEBANJI, SAN LP where his experience as a fearless Recovery and Insolvent Practitioner is being brought to bear.

Doris O. Okoroego (Mrs.)

Senior Associate | Corporate & Property Practice

Mrs. Okoroego attended Imo State University where she graduated in 2011 and was subsequently called to the Nigeria Bar in 2013. She focuses on Project finance, Land documentation, and company secretarial services, real estate, commercial and Corporate Law practice and debt recovery.

She is a career driven individual whose hard work has guided in practice over        the years. She has good interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively as a team player and a “client comes first” focus.

Doris also have a good Knowledge or prepress technical capabilities and     machinery with proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and      with immense awareness of statutory regulations.

Before joining ADE OYEBANJI, SAN LP Doris had worked as an Associate in the     firm of ABFR & Co and also served as company secretary of ABM Global Services

David K. Ndimaeme

Senior Associate | Dispute Resolution & IP

Mr. David is a self-motivated, dynamic, and result-oriented legal professional with a strong foundation in Commercial and Corporate practice, documentation, legal research, Property practice and due diligence. With a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree, Second Class Upper Honours from Abia State University and a Barrister at Law (BL.) from the Nigerian Law School.

David has accumulated valuable experience in various legal roles since his call in October, 2015. He currently serves as an Associate in the firm, leveraging his skills and expertise in navigating various commercial and corporate litigation, corporate governance and due diligence. Before joining the firm.

David had previously worked with McCarthy Mbadugha (SAN) & Co and Dambo (SAN) & Co. David is a highly committed to professional with keen interest in Commercial law practice, Debt Recovery, Corporate governance and due diligence.

David Bege Stephen

Senior Associate | Corporate & Commercial Practice

Mr. David is a legal practitioner with 9 years post-call experience in international humanitarian law, intellectual property rights, debt recovery, advocacy and consultation. He obtained his first law degree from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria in 2014 and underwent his law school training at the Nigeria Law School, Victoria Island, Lagos in 2015. He equally obtained an LLM degree with Specialty in Intellectual Property Law and Practice, International Human Right Law, Jurisprudence, and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) law at the University of Ilorin, Kwara State in 2021.

David Bege Stephen is a registered member of Nigeria Bar Association, Abuja branch (unity Bar) and has served in various capacities such; Chairman, young Lawyers Forum, Member Human Right Committee and member, Young Lawyers Pupillage and Mentorship Committee

Idowu Ore Ayegba, LL.M

Associate | Corporate Practice

Mrs. Idowu Ore Ayegba obtained her first degree from the prestigious University of Jos in the year 2014 graduating with a Second Class Upper and also an A Dean’s Award for the Outstanding Performance of the Year.

She proceeded to the Nigerian Law School, Yola Campus and was called to the Nigeria Bar in the year 2015.

After her call she observed the compulsory one-year National Youth Service at the Legal Aid Council, Owerri Imo State. In the year 2017 she joined the Law Firm of A.A. Muhammad & Co., Jabi Abuja and later proceeded to Prof. D.A Odunaike Chambers from there to Dr. P.C. Ananaba SAN & CO, and from there moved to Country Hill Attorneys and Solicitors.

She joined the law firm of Ade Oyebanji SAN LP in the year 2025. She is a highly motivated and dedicated professional with over 10 years of practice as a legal Practitioner with proven track records of accomplishments and a strong passion for corporate practice.

Oluwaseun E. Ilori

Associate | Corporate & Recovery Practice

Mr. Oluwaseun E. Ilori graduated from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State in the year 2017with aSecond Class (Upper Division) and he proceeded to the Nigeria Law School the same year where he also graduated with a Second Class (Upper Division). He was called to the Nigerian Bar in November 2018.

After his call, he served as a NYSC Associate in the Law Office of Adeyinka  Adeyosoye Chambers in Ondo State and after his NYSC Programme he worked briefly with Dr. Akin Onigbinde SAN & Co. in Ibadan, Oyo State before proceeding to Lagos State where he joined the law firm of Olumide O. Oniyire & Co. where he served for almost four years.

As a result of his love for Corporate and Commercial Practice he joined the Law firm of Ade Oyebanji SAN LP in October, 2023 where he has participated in Debt recovery matters, Receivership, Recovery of premises and Family & Probate matters.

He has appeared before and participated in matters across all Courts of Records in Nigeria.
